Food & Drink
All Seasons Childcare Nursery LLP employs a qualified chef, with a vast knowledge and experience of children's dietary requirements. Menus are planned on a weekly basis offering a meat and a non-meat alternative. Meals incorporate 5 units of fruit / vegetables per day and ensure that your child receives a healthy, balanced diet. No salt or sugar is added unnecessarily and food is prepared in a "nut free" environment.
All meals are prepared from fresh and will consist of breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch and high tea.
"Meals are prepared daily from fresh ingredients and are of excellent nutritional content ... staff make effective use of meal times to promote good manners and socially acceptable behaviour." OfSTED Report April 2007
Individual meal plans can be designed to meet the needs of any specific dietary requirements. Drinks are made available to the children throughout the day. Older children are supplied with water bottles with a photograph of themselves on, which they can access as they wish.

Outdoor Play
The nursery is set within just under one acre of land and the outdoor play area consists of a secure fenced in area at the rear of the building.

:: Features of our Garden ::
Friendship stop
Comprising of a seating area for children to share, encouraging social interaction.
This area containing established trees provides shading and specific bird feeding stations and nest boxes.
Growing Zone
An area dedicated to growing fruit, herbs and vegetables. Providing children with a learning opportunity around growth, life cycles and "Where our food comes from".  Children are encouraged to plant, maintain and harvest plants, which can then be used by our cook as part of our freshly prepared menu.
Tree House
The tree house is built on a 1.2m high platform, providing children with an area for hide and seek, role play, dens and small group activity.
Recycling Area
We recycle our domestic waste, paper, glass, plastic and metals in this area.
Baby shade
The baby shade creates a safe area in the sunshine for the non walkers to play outside. The canopy forms a structure directly outside of the baby room to allow the french doors to be kept open and the shaded area creates an extension to the indoor space.
Grass Mound
The purpose made grass mound creates an opportunity for children to experiment with climbing and rolling.
Skittle Area
The skittle area provides a flat base where floor games take place. The space is also suitable for tables, where table top activities and focused learning opportunities go ahead.
Story Telling Area
The story telling area is constructed under the existing willow tree. A Circular shape is formed with 12 individual seats depicting a clock.
The area creates an outdoor setting for literacy and communication, with the scope for extending activities by incorporating dressing up clothes and props to stimulate the imagination.
Interactive Pagodas
The interactive pagodas incorporate many found and recycled materials, created by the children to stimulate all of the senses. Sound, sight, scent and touch are all included as part of the fun and creativity. Old pots and pans, flower trays, bells and wind chimes can be transformed and used to stimulate play and learning with sounds.
Pathway
The pathway has been designed to incorporate shape. It's curved lines that lead to the existing "straight" path can create a circuit to encourage physical development and exercise on bikes, trikes and also on foot.
